How Do I Get Connected?
New Hope Assembly is not a place for spectators. It is a place for team members. Whether you are a five-year old child, a ninety-five year old grandmother, a busy mom, or a businessman with big responsibilities, we want you to be a part of our vibrant church community. In a bulletin you can fill out an area you are interested to get involved and leader will contact you to get you plugged in. Also, at our YES booth you can sign up for events that seem to interest you and can connect that way as well. Below are some of our ministries that we have here at New Hope.
Children’s Ministry
We believe that this is the generation that will see the hand of God at work in there lives before they become adults, and we are excited about connecting them to Christ for a lifetime of service. Oak Kids Inc. provides something for your children during every service. Serving ages Newborn to 5th Grade. New Hope Children’s Ministry is committed through the power and guidance of the Holy Spirit to connect to all children by showing God’s love, developing a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, and promoting faithful, Christ-like living. We exist to glorify God by knowing, applying and proclaiming the life-changing Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Youth Ministry
Breakaway Student Ministries exist to lead teens, preteens, and young adults to become faithful, devoted, spirit-filled followers of Jesus Christ, especially from those who are unchurched. We hold fast to the belief that students should feel like they belong, and we practice that truth by offering authentic and deep relationships. We emphasize committing to following Jesus for a lifetime, learning and applying scripture to our lives, practicing a lifestyle of prayer, and reaching the lost through our words and actions. Breaking away from the standard, we diverge from the belief that following Jesus should result in a common life. Being a part of Breakaway means to be part of a movement that will not settle for the average and routine. We come together to see God change our lives as well as those around us.
Women’s Group
Our Women’s Group gives the ladies of our church family and those in our community to have special times of interaction. We have renamed ourselves to “LEGACY” – Women Creating Legacies.
What does it mean to leave a legacy? Think of the people you’ve heard about but never met. Your great-great-grandparents, for instance, or a famous person who died centuries before you were born. A legacy is not a resume’ or list of accomplishments. A legacy is the imprint you leave on the future. As a result, we all have a legacy. And we will leave our legacy either by default or design. Leaving behind a legacy means making an impact that will last long after you are gone. The good news is, it’s never too late to start working on building a legacy that will outlive you. When it comes down to it, leaving a legacy is simply knowing that you’ve left your mark on those you have come in contact with. The best thing to do is stop where you are now and evaluate. Have you imparted the values you hold dear to them, both through example and by teaching them?
